Assistant Professor

Bio

Professor Wright is interested in the intersections of race, class and gender in organizational contexts. Her current research includes the study of how perceived images of African American women in administrative support roles are negotiated. In addition, she is interested in investigating how memorable messages influence women of color's success in the workplace. She has received funding from the William T. Grant Foundation to explore how the intersections between race, class, and gender among young adults influence their career aspirations.
