Bio
Professor Shumate's current research focuses on the evolution of non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) networks over time. She is currently involved a project that analyzes the symbiotic relationships between NGO issue industries and for-profit industries. She is also currently working on a project that predicts hyperlink networks among HIV/AIDS NGOs
